Hundreds of Local Media and Tens of Partners Collaborate in the Local Media Summit 2022

Kutub.id – More than three hundreds of local media have confirmed to participate in the Local Media Summit 2022 both online and offline. The first and largest local media meeting in Indonesia also received support from twenty more collaborators consisting of embassies, donor agencies, companies, banking, technological platforms, and world leading technology solutions.

The Local Media Summit 2022 event will be opened by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartarto and the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno. Head of National Library, M Syarif Bando, will also give a speech at the opening of the Summit held at the Indonesian National Library Building in Jakarta.

More than 100 local media received financing to follow the Local Media Summit 2022 consisting of two conferences, nine workshops, two sharing discussions, three coaching clinics, two side events in the form of workshops on 29 and 30 October 2022 and one Networking Night session conducted on October 27, 2022 at night.

MGID, Pioneer Platform Native Advertising Global, will share in a workshop session with the theme “Finding a Viable Business Model for Local Media” or “Looking for a Sustainable Model Business for Local Media.” Then Dailymotion, a video platform from France, will share in a workshop titled “Video Packaging and Monetization”.

There is also Amazon Web Service which in addition to sending Country Manager AWS, Indonesia Gunawan Susanto, spoke at the conference, also sent experts to provide coaching to local media leaders regarding fundamental technology for online media.
